What I’ve done

Amazon

I worked across Goodreads, Kindle publishing, and Amazon Go, first as a developer and later as an engineering manager. At Goodreads, I built backend systems, search, and data pipelines. In Kindle publishing, I helped launch reporting tools for authors and move the team to continuous deployment.

At Amazon Go, I led backend engineering as the technology expanded to support different store formats. I worked with machine learning teams on the inputs and training data their models needed, building systems that kept people in the loop. That included operational tooling, video streaming, and workflows that let remote associates build 3D shelf models over live video.

Snap

I led the Product Catalog team behind Dynamic Product Ads. Our systems served roughly 1.5 billion products and handled hundreds of millions of updates a day. We expanded the platform into travel ads, including destination-level targeting, and added image enhancements. Building on that foundation, we brought LLM-based enrichment to about 150 million items, inferring attributes such as category, gender, and brand.

Atelio by FIS

I built an embedded-finance engineering organization from the ground up, growing it to about 25 engineers across five teams. Our work covered compliance, customer and business onboarding, ledger reconciliation, data engineering, and data science.

That meant working with banking partners, adapting to regulatory requirements, and deciding where better systems could unblock the business.

What I’m doing

Hims & Hers

My work at Hims & Hers spans pharmacy fulfillment, compliance, and now the electronic medical record organization. I lead AI tooling development for our software lifecycle, including design review, ticket creation, and code generation.

The work builds on my experience leading pharmacy engineering across locations with different regulatory obligations, where the software needs to support both day-to-day operations and compliance.

Glasswaves.ai

At Glasswaves.ai, I build AI-native products and agents from the ground up in fields with demanding compliance requirements. That includes Tariff Code Compliance, a tariff intelligence platform for commerce teams, developers, and AI agents.

Consulting

I work with technology leaders at companies of all sizes on what they’re building and how they could build it better with AI. That might mean improving the development process, designing a product around agents, or figuring out whether AI is a good fit for a problem in the first place.
